John Rutherford, Senior Vice President of Multifamily Investment Sales at NAI, leads the firm’s overall multifamily brokerage efforts in the Greater Jacksonville market. John brings more than a decade of experience, having facilitated more than $1 billion in investment sales throughout his career to a large investor network of private and institutional clients.
Prior to joining NAI, John was a director at Newmark focusing on multifamily investment sales amongst the greater Northeast and Central Florida marketplace. John’s previous experience also includes operations, analytics, and asset management in varying niche sectors of multifamily investment, affording him the opportunity to uniquely understand all facets of underwriting and value creation for his clients. John holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Florida and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Florida. He has also been named a CoStar Power Broker each year since 2016.
In his time outside of real estate, John enjoys spending time with family, being active in outdoor recreation and supporting various, local non-profits such as Beyond90 and the Youth Crisis Center.
