The four-story Classic Colonial-style mansion boasts 16,000 square feet of professional office space, a grand 2-story portico with six (6) Corinthian columns, a serpentine balcony and coffered ceiling. Designed by architect Henry John Klutho after the Great Fire of 1901, the Property was restored in 1981 preserving many of the original features. In an effort to revitalize one of the few remaining historical mansions in Jacksonville, the new owner, JWB Real Estate Capital, has many planned improvements in mind such as landscaping, installing an exterior lift, updating staircases, and updating restrooms to bring the building up to ADA and modern quality standards.

“We believe in downtown, and we believe that the key to downtown revitalization is in clustering development,” said Alex Sifakis, president of JWB Real Estate Capital. “Being able to purchase a whole city block and a historic Klutho building, one block away from our recent investments in the Seminole Building and the Federal Reserve Building, just made a lot of sense for us. With our purchase, this area now has almost 5 contiguous city blocks with redevelopment in the works.”

In addition to brokering the sale of the Property, NAI Hallmark has been engaged to provide leasing and property management to the Property. Patrick Thornton, principal and Patrick Carney, senior associate, of NAI Hallmark will facilitate leasing services.
